The Saintly City Cat Club was accepted by The Cat Fanciers' Association, Inc. (CFA) as an affiliated club in 1974.  The club was formed for these purposes:

• Provide educational opportunities
   

• Encourage ethical breeding
   

• Produce cat shows
   

• Promote interest in and knowledge of purebred cats
   

• Support the care, welfare and health of the cat
